Orienpet lilies or OT hybrid lilies are a cross between Oriental lilies and Trumpet or Aurelian lilies combining the beauty of Orientals with the robustness and heat tolerance of Trumpets and Aurelian’s. They are more disease resistant, drought, heat and cold tolerant than their parents. Huge fragrant, waxy flowers with slightly recurved petals rise on heavy stems from 90 to 240 cm tall and can face upward, outward or slightly downwards. Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Water as needed to keep soil evenly moist, especially in hot weather. Remove faded flowers for best display.
